Guys i just bin banned from my own server

i changed rcon pass after that and i banned that ip also steam id cuz i know owner of that ip
But is that only what i can do or is somthing more ?

Stop the server, connect to FTP, and modify the banned_ip.cfg (In the cfg folder).

I've found that HLSW (For some strange reason) does work to a certain extent for IP bans.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying.

If you haven't shared your RCON password with anyone, then it'd probably have been an RCON exploit. There are a few addons to patch these up.

if you want to be cruel to who ever this was, submit it to steam bans.... that way they are on the watch list for a couple thousand steam servers, and banned from even more.....
but that is assuming you can show sufficant reason to get them banned, as the server wasnt streaming steam bans (as far as I am aware at the time)
