hlstatsx installation :x

Well i looked in the Winrar file, and couldn't find any Readme files soo i'm here to ask.

What do i need to install, and what don't i need to install?

I know for definiate that i don't need to install the web folder as that as we know is for the website.

But rest :S

Help is appreciated, even if it helps me a tad bit.

Also i'll add your credits on my website on the status page for helping out

Heres what i have so far in the folder.



So far i know that sourcemod goes in the sourcemod folder, except the files in there, not the sourcemod folder it self, scripts that i know too.

If you have sourcemod (which i assume you have) you just have to copy the files in the sourcemod to your server and you also have to add:
Log on
logaddress_add xx.xxx.xxx.xx:27500
Into you server.cfg file on your server.

But instead of all the x you should use the ip to the web server.

First you need to make sure your web-host support you running pearl scripts as that's that will be vital for it to work.
The 'web' folder needs to go onto a public web area and install a My-SQL database for you to work with.
That will start you off I think

You also have to make sure your webhost allows ports to be open
and have SSH access if linux hosting

You do not need SSH access if you're running it on a linux server. Cron Jobs handle the task just as well.
The website you downloaded the package from has a forum. Use it, as it has installation guides and a forum for queries and problems.

Well i'm assuming my host allows perl, and what ports are we talking about?

This i wasn't sure of.

Edit: So far i have following ports opened on my host.
80 (Of course by default), 27015 to 27020.

I don't know if they allow further ports to be open, they said they made an exception for me because i run a server advertisement.

Again, read the hlstats community forums. There's a linux installation guide there.
